... through good headlines, concise texts and moving material
ICA Gruppen is a leading retail company with focus on food and health. The Group includes ICA Sweden and Rimi Baltic, ICA Real Estate, ICA Bank and Apotek Hjärtat. The annual report that ICA Gruppen published in 2023 was supplemented, just like in recent years, with an online based annual overview.
The starting point for the online version was that ICA Gruppen's stakeholders should easily understand the company's story by scrolling through the report – with inviting headlines, shorter texts, images and moving material that help to make the content interesting. Through what we call scrollytelling, the reader is given a quick insight into the Group’s focus during the year.
In the formal annual report, which also contains the company's sustainability report, the focus is on reporting on the past year and describing the Group's strategy, Ambition 2030. One of the strategy's four main ambitions is to make it easier for customers to make sustainable choices. Thoughtful structure, good explanation and well-balanced and nicely packaged content make the report easily accessible to the recipient.
Long-term cooperation
Solberg has worked with ICA Gruppen with its reporting since 2012 and has an overall commitment that includes advice, concept, copy, project management, design and production of both PDF and online versions.
RESULT
The 2023 annual report meets the target groups in various channels and creates value and good usability for both external and internal stakeholders.
